Top 5 Favorite Series

This list only includes finished series and series I have read all of the books in.

Harry Potter is not on this list because I think it should be common knowledge I love Harry Potter.

(#4 & 5 are interchangeable) -Enjoy

5. The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow

the secret diamond sisters

The Secret Diamond Sisters is by far my favorite contemporary series. The Secret Diamond Sisters is about three sisters; Peyton Diamond, Courtney Diamond, and Savannah Diamond. When their mother is put into rehab for her drug addiction they (Peyton, Courtney, and Savannah) move in with their rich father who they’ve never meet. These books are funny and cute while covering darker topics, such as drug addiction). There’s so much drama in this series. The books are all addicting. Peyton, Courtney, and Savannah all have very different personalities which results in lots of different drama. The Secret Diamond Sisters is a trilogy.

5 Things I Love About Spider-Man: Homecoming

5. The End Credits Scene

While it wasn’t the best end credits scene in the world it still made me laugh. It was simple and it connected to the rest of the movie. It gave the movie the feeling of coming full circle.

Unpopular Opinion Book Tag

A popular book/series you didn’t like…

wicked

Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I found this book so boring. Everyone kept telling me it gets really good around *insert event here* but eventually I was 4/5 of the way through the book and still wasn’t interested. I’ve been reading this book (along with others) for 3 years and I just can’t get into it. I will say the book gets interesting around the last 15 pages but this book is 519 pages long (yes I checked) and definitely not worth my time.

Warrior Wednesday

Wonder Woman (Diana)

Portrayed by Gal Gadot

wonder woman

Photo from Wonder Woman film (2017)

A few weeks ago I saw Wonder Woman and I was absolutely blown away. Diana (wonder woman) was done so well. Diana managed to be kickass, smart, and kind all at the same time. Diana is raised on an island of all women. These women are The Amazons. The Amazons are strong women and excellent fighters. The Amazons teach Diana how to fight (incredibly well) and they shape her into the wonderful (no pun intended) person that she is.

Top 5 LGBT+ Ships

My favorite same sex couples.

The LGBT+ community is more represented in books, movies, and tv shows now more than ever. I’m bisexual so I’d like to highlight some of my favorite same-sex ships. There are so many wonderful same-sex couples but I managed to narrow it down to my top 5.

5. Mary Louise and Nora (ship name=???)

A ship I don’t hear a lot about is Mary Louise and Nora from The Vampire Diaries. Mary Louise (or Mary Lou as Nora calls her) and Nora were only in The Vampire Diaries for part of the eighth season. Mary Lou and Nora are heterics (a vampire, witch hybrid) which means they’ve been together for a long time. While they’re cruel and enjoy torturing people Mary Louise and Nora always showed their soft side to each other (like a more satanic version of Brittana*?). Mary Louise and Nora have been through everything together and won’t live without each other. They will fight everyone (and I really mean everyone) to ensure each others safety. They are both extremely protective. Their caring relationship brings a human quality to their otherwise stone cold characters.

10 Bookish Facts About Me

Get to know me better.

Since I’m fairly new to blogging I thought I’d make my first post something to help you get to know me. Here is 10 Bookish Facts About Me. Enjoy!

  1. I’m always reading multiple books at once. It’s a really bad habit I’ve tried to get out of but it never works. There are so many books I want to read and I just don’t have the patience to wait until I’m done my other books.

2. The books I’m currently reading are: Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, Camp Half-Blood Confidential by Rick Riordan, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (The Original Screenplay), and Note to Self by Connor Franta.

3. I think that Mason Ashford (from Vampire Academy), Connor and Travis Stoll (from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Blood of Olympus, and The Trials of Apollo), and Zeke Pedrad (from Divergent Continue reading “10 Bookish Facts About Me”
