Shawn Mendes Book Tag

For anyone who didn’t know I love Shawn Mendes (maybe a little too much). When I found this tag I couldn’t wait to do it. Enjoy!

STITCHES: a book that made you really sad and left you in pieces.

marleyandme

Marley and Me by John Grogan. Marley and Me is the only book that has ever made me sob. Marley was one of the sweetest (and craziest dogs ever). Even though I knew what would happen in the end I couldn’t prepare myself. To add on to my pain, I have a dog that is very similar to Marley. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t cried because of Marley and Me. Even though I loved the book, Marley and Me did leave me in pieces.

Unpopular Opinion Book Tag

A popular book/series you didn’t like…

wicked

Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I found this book so boring. Everyone kept telling me it gets really good around *insert event here* but eventually I was 4/5 of the way through the book and still wasn’t interested. A ship I don’t hear a lot about is Mary Louise and Nora from The Vampire Diaries. Mary Louise (or Mary Lou as Nora calls her) and Nora were only in The Vampire Diaries for part of the eighth season. Mary Lou and Nora are heterics (a vampire, witch hybrid) which means they’ve been together for a long time. While they’re cruel and enjoy torturing people Mary Louise and Nora always showed their soft side to each other (like a more satanic version of Brittana*?). Mary Louise and Nora have been through everything together and won’t live without each other. They will fight everyone (and I really mean everyone) to ensure each others safety. They are both extremely protective. Their caring relationship brings a human quality to their otherwise stone cold characters.
